This unit weighs 1100 lbs and is MUCH beefier than our standard tree puller. The jaws are 1″ thick, there is a double jaw up near the pivot to more firmly hold heavier trees in place, and the brush guard is now strong enough to push hard on the trunks and help tip to trees when needed.
Both jaws open and close now, each jaw is using its own 3.5″ bore cylinder so the gripping power is immense. The jaw opening is quite large, more than enough to grab any tree a skidsteer is capable of actually pulling.
Cylinders are now tucked safely away in the backside of the carriage, no danger of hitting them on anything.
As you can see this unit now has excavator teeth as well as stump bucket style serrated jaws, so this unit is suitable for digging up stumps as well as pulling the tree itself.
